Beirut Stock Exchange Finished Friday’s Session in the Green

The Lebanese Bourse saw improving trading activity and performance today partly due to the partially recovering real estate sector. Accordingly, The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.98% on Friday, to 1,150.12 points, following the trade of 128,770 shares worth $968,584, narrowing its year-to-date loss to 1.72%.In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” gained 4.14% and 7.23% to settle at $10.57 and $10.83, respectively. In the banking sector, BLOM listed shares increased by 0.32% to close the session at $9.43, while Audi GDR shares, Byblos listed shares and BLOM preferred shares 2011 traded with no change in price.
