All of the Traded Shares Dipped on the Lebanese Bourse Today

The second session of political dialogue that took place this week failed to support the Beirut Stock Exchange today.  Thus, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) reversed yesterday’s progress and slid by 0.29% to 1,145.05 points following the trade of 33,777 shares worth $338,991. Moreover, the BSI registered a 2.15% year-to-date decrease and a 2.38% drop from its value a year ago. In the real estate sector, Solidere class “A” and “B” shares lost 1.47% and 0.89% to settle at respective quotes of $10.06 and $10.01. In the banking sector, BLOM Bank listed and preferred shares 2011 also declined by 0.53% and 0.10% to close the session at $9.40 and $10.15, respectively.
