The Lebanese Bourse Started the Week in the Red

The Lebanese Bourse ended the first session of the week in the red as 3 out of 8 traded stocks down ticked today. Accordingly, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) decreased by 0.03% to 1,144.79 points following the trade of 40,941 shares worth $1,067,024. In the banking sector, BLOM Bank GDRs, Bank Audi listed shares and preferred shares class “H” each lost 0.10%, 0.67%, and 0.10% to close at respective prices of $9.64, $5.95, and $101.00. In contrast, BLOM Bank listed shares gained 0.53% to $9.45. Meanwhile, Byblos Bank listed shares and preferred shares 08 traded with no change in price.  In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” were traded with no change in price at $10.08, while Solidere class “B” shares increased by 0.40% to also reach the same quote of $10.08.
