Shy Trading Session on the Lebanese Bourse Today

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) was characterized by a frail trading session on Tuesday, as a mere 7,904 shares exchanged hands worth $77,153 compared to 40,491 shares worth $1.07M yesterday. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.04% to 1,145.20 points, narrowing its year-to-date loss to 2.14%. In the banking sector, GDRs of Audi gained 0.16% to $5.95 while BLOM GDRs lost 0.20% to settle at $9.62. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” increased by 0.69% to close the session at $10.15 while its class “B” shares lost 0.49% to end up at $10.03. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares traded at their previous quote of $15.00.
