The Beirut Stock Exchange Ended the Week on a Positive Note

As 3 out of the 6 traded stocks on the Lebanese Bourse ended in the green, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased by 0.28% on Friday to 1,133.72 points, narrowing its year-to-date losses to 3.12%. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” went up by 0.32% and 3.56% to close the session at respective quotes of $9.53 and $9.61. In the banking sector, BLOM GDRs increased by 0.53% to close the session at $9.55 while Audi preferred shares class “G” lost 1.27% to end at $100.70. Meanwhile, Byblos preferred shares 08 and 09, and Audi preferred shares class “H” traded with no change in price. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares exchanged hads at their previous quote of $15.00
