As three out of the seven traded stocks ended on a high note, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.51% to 1,161.07 points on Monday, following the trade of 149,102 shares worth $915,764. In the banking sector, the listed shares of Byblos and BLOM increased by 1.24% and 1.91% to close the session at respective quotes of $1.63 and $9.59. In contrast, both the listed and GDR shares of Audi lost 0.17% each to converge tothe same quote of $6.05. BLOM GDRs exchanged hands without any change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” went up by 2.06% to end up at $10.42 while its class “B” shares declined by 0.77% to $10.36.
