At 15:45 Beirut time, the Euro was quoted at €/$ 1.0914, the equivalent of €/LBP 1,645.29, appreciating by 0.04% against the US Dollar.
The euro rebounded against the dollar today after the US CPI dropped by 0.1% in December.
Locally, the Lebanese Pound appreciated by 0.08% against the Dollar to settle at $/LP 1,510.5-1,514.5 with a mid-price of $/LP 1,512.5.
Compared to the pool of currencies of Lebanon’s major trading partners, the purchasing power of the Lebanese Pound improved as reflected by the NEER, published by BLOMINVEST, which decreased by 0.06% to 169.27 points today.
