Lebanon’s Balance of Payments Records a Surplus in January

According to the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL), Lebanon’s Balance of payments (BoP) recorded a $236.9M surplus in January 2018, compared to a surplus of $166.7M in January 2017. In details, BDL’s Net Foreign Assets (NFA) recorded an increase of $985.9M by January, while commercial banks’ NFAs dropped by $749M.
