According to the central bank of Lebanon, Cement deliveries declined by an annual 4.38% by October 2018 to stand at 4.08M tons. In fact, the number of construction permits also decreased by a yearly 15.94% to settle at 12,842 permits by October 2018 according to the Orders of Engineers in Beirut and Tripoli.
It is worth mentioning that the six-month moving average of the number of cements deliveries declined by 6.86 year-on-year (y-o-y), to reach 429,189 tons in October 2018.
