BSE Improved on Wednesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) improved on Wednesday, where 93,014 shares worth $928,584 were traded. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increased marginally by 0.04% to settle at 1,184.71 points. The real estate sector grasped a share of 44.90% of total traded value, with Solidere “A” shares decreasing by 0.16%, to $12.49, while class “B” shares were traded at their previous closing price of $12.51. In the banking sector, Audi preferred shares class “E” lost 0.20% to $100.50. In contrast, Byblos listed shares added 0.61% to $1.64. Meanwhile, BLOM GDRs, Audi listed shares, Byblos preferred 2009 shares, and Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “I” exchanged hands without a change in price.
