BSI up 0.23% to 1163.46 on Monday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) improved on Monday, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) rising 0.23% to 1,163.46 points. The banking sector took a share of 82.32% of total traded value, where it is worth noting that Priority 2014 shares of Bank of Beirut traded for the first time. Bank Audi listed shares gained 2.50% to close at $6.15 and Audi preferred shares “F” and “G” both gained 0.50% to close at $101.00 each. Bank Byblos listed shares and Bank of Beirut priority 2014 shares traded without any change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares fell by 1.70% and 0.70% respectively close at $11.36 and $11.33.
