The BSE Closed the First Trading Day of November in the Red

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in the red, with 125,189 shares traded worth $968,862. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.09% to 1,179.40 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 68.56% of total traded value, where Byblos listed shares dropped 2.44% to $1.60. In contrast, Audi listed shares gained 1.10% to $6.45. Meanwhile, Byblos preferred 2008 shares were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares added 0.09% and 0.18% to end today’s session at $11.40 and $11.41, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares lost 3.16% to $15.00.
