The BSE Started the Week with a 0.07% Decline on a Volume of 33,714 shares

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in the red with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declining by 0.07% to 1,179.72 points, where 33,714 shares worth $2.42M were traded. The banking sector dominated trade on the BSE, with a 95.35% share. BLC preferred shares class “A” lost 2.91% to $100, while BLC preferred “B” and “C” shares were traded with no change in price. BLOM listed shares also traded at its previous close, at $8.80. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares decreased by 0.87% to $11.37, whereas class “B” shares added 0.53% to $11.29.
