BSI’s Downward Trend Continued with Slight 0.09% Downtick on Wednesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) remained on its downward trend on Wednesday, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declining 0.09% to 1,165.21 points. The banking sector took an 85.65% share of total traded value where Audi listed shares and Audi Preferred “H” shares gained 0.50% and 0.49% to $6.03 and $102.80, respectively. Byblos listed and preferred 2008 shares, Bank of Beirut (BoB) listed shares and Audi GDR shares were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares lost 0.90% to $11.06, while the “B” shares edged up by 0.27% to $11.07. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares lost 3.23% to $15.00, while Ciments Blancs bearer shares were traded with no change in price.
