Low Demand on Long-term Securities Caused a 0.02% Drop in the BBI

The Lebanese Bonds Market ended the week with a decline, as the BLOM Bond Index (BBI) dropped 0.02% to 107.82 points. The 5Y Lebanese Eurobonds yields lost 9 basis points (bps) to 5.04%, while that of 10Y added 4 bps to 6.06%. Demand on 5Y US treasuries subdued causing the 5Y spread against the US Treasury to narrow by 16 bps to 376 bps. As for the 5Y CDS quote, it remained unchanged at 367-396 bps.
