A frail volume of 33,744 shares were traded on Friday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) closed the week in the red, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) dropping 0.26% to 1,168.61 points. A frail volume of shares were traded today. Bank of Beirut (BoB) preferred shares class “I” gained 0.39% to $26. In contrast, BLOM GDR shares and Byblos listed shares lost 0.30% and 0.61% to $9.97 and $1.62, respectively. BoB Preferred shares class “H” were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” decreased by 0.54% and 1.62% to %10.95 and $10.91, respectively.
