Banking Sector Led 0.07% Increase in BSI on Tuesday

The Lebanese Bourse experienced an increase, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) improved by 0.07% to close today’s session at 1,221.21. Most trades in the banking sector ended in the green knowing that they accounted for 70.91% of the total trading value. In saying that, Byblos preferred 08 and 09 shares gained 0.10% and 0.20% to $102.30 and $102.40, respectively. Moreover, Bank Audi preferred “F” shares incremented by 0.78% to settle at $103.80 while BLOM Bank GDR shares traded with no change in price. Meanwhile, in the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares traded with no change in price. As for Solidere shares, class “A” closed on a gain of 0.87% to $11.56 while class “B” lost 0.61% to $11.45.
