Beirut Bourse downticked by 0.74% on Thursday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) closed the session in the red mainly due to the poor performance of the banking sector. On that note, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) down ticked 0.74% to hit 1,222.27 points. Bank Audi common and GDR shares decreased by 1.46% and 5.20% to converge at the same price of $6.75. Byblos Bank listed shares augmented by 1.18% to $1.72 while BLOM Bank listed and BLC Bank preferred 13 shares regressed 1.51% and 0.99% to reached $9.16 and $100.00, respectively. On the other hand, the real estate sector posted mix performance as Solidere class “A” shares lost 0.51% to $11.67 while class “B” shares gained 1.29% to end up at $11.78.
