Lebanese Bourse Started the Week on a Positive Note

The Lebanese Stock Market started the week on a positive note, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) posted a 0.11% daily uptick to close at 1,192.76 points, which translates into a 1.92% y-t-d increase. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” gained 0.90% and 1.72% to end the session at respective prices of $11.23 and $11.24. In the banking sector, BLOM Bank GDR shares dropped 1.61% to close at $9.77 while its Preferred 2011 shares increased by 0.20% to settle at $10.22. In contrast, BLOM Bank listed, Bank Audi common and Preferred class “F” shares traded with no change in price.
