Lebanese Bourse Ended in the Red on Tuesday

The Lebanese Bourse ended Tuesday’s session in the red, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) posted a 0.09% daily downtick to close at 1,191.72 points, which translates into a 1.83% y-t-d increase. In the banking sector, which constituted 61% of total traded value, BLOM Bank GDR and Bank Audi listed shares lost 1.23% and 0.16% to close at $9.65 and $6.09, respectively. In contrast BLOM Bank listed, Bank Audi GDR and preferred class “F” shares traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” increased by 0.09% and 0.27% to settle at respective prices of $11.24 and $11.27.
