Lebanese Bourse Experienced a Correction Following Monday’s Downturn

The Lebanese Bourse recovered today from yesterday’s poor performances as five of the six traded stocks ended in the green. This translated into the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) increasing by 0.38% to 1,194.02 points, and registering a 2.03% year-to-date growth. In the banking sector, Bank Audi and BLOM Bank GDR shares gained 1.32% and 2.00% to settle at respective quotes of $10.00 and $6.63. Furthermore Byblos Bank preferred shares 2008 augmented by 1.48% to $102.60 while, Bank of Beirut common shares traded with no change in price. In the real-estate sector, Solidere classes “A” and “B” shares increased 0.72% and 0.36% to end at the same price of $11.17.
