Frail Activity Depicted in the Lebanese Bourse Today

The Beirut Stock Exchange witnessed frail trading activity on Friday, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declined by 0.05% to 1,190.83 points, narrowing its year-to-date gains to 1.76%. In the banking sector, BLOM Bank preferred 2011 gained 0.10% to close the session at $10.11, while Byblos Bank listed shares and preferred shares 2009 and BLOM Bank listed shares traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” increased by 0.35% to $11.59 while the class “B” shares lost 0.78% to $11.51.
