Positive Performance Depicted the Lebanese Bourse

The Lebanese Bourse slightly recovered today from yesterday’s session, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) went up by 0.03% to 1,185.15 points, broadening its year-to-date gains to 1.27%. In the banking sector, the winners were Bank Audi GDR shares and Byblos Bank preferred shares 2009, which gained respective amounts of 0.97% and 0.10% to settle at $6.25 and $101.10. In contrast, Byblos Bank listed shares lost 1.84% to close the session at $1.60. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” dropped 0.34% to $11.60, while class “B” shares increased by 2.31% to end the session at $11.51.
