Activity on the BSE ended the Month at a High Volume

Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) occurred at a high volume of 7.58M shares worth $46.01M, where 7.52M of the traded shares were Audi listed shares, after the listing of 50M new Audi common shares on the BSE, this morning. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) improved by 0.29% to stand at 1,174.13 points. The Banking sector grasped a share of 99.58% of total traded value, with BLOM listed shares gaining 0.69% to close today’s session at $8.81. In contrast, Byblos preferred 2008 shares lost 0.30% to $100.70. Meanwhile Audi’s listed, GDR, and preferred shares classes “E” and “F” were traded with no change in price. The shares in the real sector enhanced today, where Solidere “A” and “B” shares added 1.27% and 0.67% to end today’s session at $11.99 and $12.00, respectively.
