Bank of Beirut Announced 2015’s Dividend Distribution

During its ordinary general assembly, held on the 5th of May 2016, Bank of Beirut (BoB) decided to distribute $36M worth of dividends for the year 2015, as follows:

  • $2/share for the holders of BoB preferred “E” shares
  • $2.3625/share for the holders of BoB preferred “G” shares
  • $1.75/share for the holders of BoB preferred “H” shares
  • $1.6875/share for the holders of BoB preferred “I” shares
  • $1.625/share for the holders of BoB preferred “J” shares
  • $0.84/share for the holders of BoB priority shares 2014
  • LBP 900/share for the common shareholders including holders of BoB priority shares 2014

The dividends will be paid starting 11 May till 20 May 2016, and are subject to a 5% withholding tax. The shareholders that will benefit from the dividends are the ones listed in Midclear’s records as of the 10th of May 2016, the record date. The ex-dividend date has been set on the 6th of May 2016 for all shares except preferred “E” shares, as their redemption date was on the 30th of December 2016.
