Beirut Stock Exchange Ended in the Red During the Last Session of the Week

Banking stocks held back the Lebanese Bourse today, causing the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) to decline 0.08% to 1,155.24 points following the trade of 1,759,875 shares worth $11,279,953. In the banking sector, GDRs of BLOM and Audi declined by 0.10% and 1.46% to settle at respective quotes of $9.73 and $6.06. In addition, the listed shares of BLOM and Audi decreased by 0.42% and 0.66% to close the session at $9.41 and $6.06, respectively. Meanwhile, BLOM preferred shares 2011 traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” gained 0.20% and 2.86% to end at $10.21 and $10.44, respectively.
