BSE closed in the green on September 10th

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the green, where 2,902,551 shares worth $25,445,036 were traded. The major shares traded were Audi listed shares for the 2nd day, where 2.78M shares were cross traded. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) added 0.26% to reach 1,177.65 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 99.20% of total traded value, where Audi listed shares and Byblos listed shares edged up by 0.33% and 0.62% to $6.02 and $1.63, respectively. Meanwhile, BLOM listed shares, Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” and Audi preferred shares classes “E”, “F” and “G” exchanged hands without a change in price. In the real estate sector Solidere “A” and “B” shares gained 0.41% and 1.16%, to $12.13 and $12.24, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares were traded at their previous closing prices.
