BSE Closed the Week in the Red

 The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the week in the red, with a very low traded volume of 19,332 shares worth $300,195. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.09% to reach 1,170.28 points. The real estate sector grasped a share of 55.53% of total traded value, with Solidere “A” shares edging down by 0.77% to $11.67, while its “B” counterpart shares were traded at the previous closing price of $11.58. In the banking sector, Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” decreased by 0.12% to $25.72. In contrast, BEMO preferred shares class 2013 added 0.90% to $101.20.Meanwhile, BLOM listed shares exchanged hands without a change in price.
