BSE Saw Heavy Trade on Banking Sector Shares on October 10

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) saw a heavy trade on the banking sector shares, which grasped 92.52% of total traded value. The Beirut Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.04% to 1,174.84 points. In the banking sector, Byblos preferred 2009 shares and Audi GDR shares inched up by 0.20% and 1.17% to close at $100.80 and $6.07, respectively. In contrast, BLOM GDRs lost 0.53% to $9.45. BLOM listed shares, Audi Listed shares, Bank of Beirut Preferred shares class “H”, and BLC bank preferred shares class “C” exchanged hands with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares dropped 0.66% to $12.05.
