BSE Started the Week in the Red

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) declined for the second day, where the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.05% to settle at 1,186.19 points. The real estate sector grasped a share of 49.01% of total traded value, with Solidere “A” shares decreasing by 0.87%, to $12.51, while class “B” shares increased by 0.08% to $12.53. In the banking sector, Audi listed shares and Byblos preferred 2008 shares lost 2.87% and 0.50% to $6.09 and $100.50, respectively. In contrast, Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “I” added 0.39% to $25.70. Meanwhile, BLOM GDRs and Audi GDRs were traded without any change in price.
