Lebanese Bourse Dropped 0.86% to 1,167.54 Points on High Traded Volume

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) weakened, with the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) dropping 0.86% to 1,167.54 points on Thursday. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares and Audi listed shares decreased by 1.20% and 5.26% to end today’s trading session at respective prices of $1.65 and $5.94. In contrast, the Global Depository Receipts of BLOM and that of Audi added 0.52% and 1.54% to close at $9.65 and $6.60, respectively. Similarly, Audi preferred shares class “F” increased by 0.20% to $102.20. Meanwhile BLOM listed and preferred shares class 11 were traded with no change in price. The real estate sector grasped a 22.85% share of total traded value, where Solidere “A” shares decreased by 0.09% to $11.21, while Solidere “B” shares increased by 0.80% to $11.29. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares were traded with no change in price.
