Lebanese Bourse Experienced a Downturn Today for the 2nd Session Running

As five out of the eight traded stocks ended in the red, the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) dropped by 0.47% to 1,149.00 points, following the trade of 189,111 shares worth $2,112,723. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” lost 0.30% to end up at $10.11 and $9.91, respectively. In the banking sector, Byblos’ listed shares declined by 4.17% to $1.61. In contrast, Byblos preferred shares 2009 increased by 0.20% to settle at $101.10 while Audi’s preferred shares classes “F” and “G” dropped by 0.10% and 0.30% to respective quotes of $101.60 and $100.90.  Meanwhile, BLOM listed and GDR shares traded with no change in price.
