Lebanese Eurobonds Remained Stable on Wednesday

Demand for medium and long term Lebanese Eurobonds remained stagnant on Wednesday as the BLOM Bond Index (BBI) steadied at 106.81 points. Similarly, the yields on the 5Y and 10Y Lebanese Eurobonds stood stable at 5.32% and 6.13%, respectively. The 5Y spread between the yield on the Lebanese Eurobonds and the US comparable broadened by 5 basis points (bps) as the yield on 5Y US securities declined by the same amount to 1.32%. In addition, Lebanon’s 5Y Credit Default Swaps (CDS) remained unchanged at 377-400 bps.
