Negative Performance on the Beirut Stock Exchange on Wednesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today’s session in the red, as the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) decreased by 0.08% to reach 1,163.15 points on Wednesday. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” increased  by 0.70% to end the session at $10.14, whereas class “B” shares went in the opposite direction and decreased by 1.08% to reach $10.09.In the banking sector, BLOM GDRs and Audi GDRs decreased by 0.30% and 0.81%  to reach $9.97 and $6.10, respectively. Meanwhile, BOB Listed, Byblos Listed and BLOM preferred 11 shares, traded with no change in price. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares increased by 0.07% to settle at $14.36.
