The real estate held backthe Lebanese Bourse for the 3rd consecutive session which caused the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) to decline by 0.69% to 1,148.91 points, following the trade of 58,158 shares worth $567,109. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” both declined by 4.09% and 3.05% to end the trading day at $10.09 and $10.18, respectively. In the banking sector, Byblos Bank listed shares and Bank Audi GDRs lost 0.61% and 0.33% to close at $1.62 and $6.05, respectively. In contrast, BLOM Bank GDRs, Bank Audi listed shares, and Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” increased by 0.21%, 0.67% and 0.57% to respective prices of $9.72, $6.00, and $26.50. Meanwhile, the listed shares of Bank of Beirut and BLOM Bank traded with no change in price. In the industrial sector, Holcim shares decreased by 2.67% to $14.60.
