Port of Tripoli to Expect First Container Vessel this Friday

According to Business News, Port of Tripoli is expecting the arrival of the first container vessel, Cielo di Agadir, part of the CMA CGM fleet, on Friday. CMA CGM is already one of the top shipping companies operating at the Port of Beirut. The vessel is expected to process 45,000-65,000 containers in 2017, which will lead to a rise in overall traffic at the port. Moreover, the vessel will be handled by Gulftainer and is expected to “ship 110 containers outbound to Europe and Arab countries, carrying local merchandise including frozen fruits and vegetables.”
