Shy trading Activity Highlighted the Beirut Stock Exchange on Friday

During the last trading session of the week, the Lebanese Bourse witnessed relatively frail activity as 26,898 shares traded worth $226,381 compared to 189,111 shares traded worth $2.12M on Thursday. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) down ticked by 0.06% to 1,148.25, and recorded a 1.82% decline since the start of the year. In the banking sector, Byblos’ listed shares increased by  0.62% to $1.62, while the GDR shares of Audi lost 0.83% to close the session at $6.00. Meanwhile, Bank of Beirut common shares and BLOM GDR shares traded with no change in price.  In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” went down by 0.59% to settle at $10.05, while its class “B” shares exchanged hands at their previous quote of $9.91.
