The BSE Started the Week in the Red

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in the red today, where the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.17% to 1,185.54 points, its low for the day. The real estate sector grasped a share of 21.73% of total traded value; with Solidere “A” and “B” shares decreasing by 1.27% and 1.35%, to $12.40 and $12.44, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares were traded at their previous close of $14.50. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares dropped by 1.22% to $1.62. On the other hand, Audi listed shares added 1.48% to $6.18. Meanwhile, BLOM GDR shares, Byblos preferred 2008 shares, Audi preferred shares class “G”, and Bank of Beirut preferred shares class “H” were traded without a change in price.
