The BSE Started the Week of September 29 in the Red

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week in the red, with 1,994,218 traded shares worth $12,343,025. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.24% to end today’s session at 1,170.74 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 96.59% of total traded value, where 1,944,650 Audi listed share were traded with no change in price. Likewise, Audi preferred shares class “F” also exchanged hands at their previous close price of $100.50. Byblos listed shares and BLOM GDR shares fell by 0.61% and 0.21% to reach $1.63 and $9.45, respectively. In contrast Byblos preferred 2008 shares gained 0.40% to $101.00. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares dropped by 1.00% and 0.42%, to close at $11.84 and $11.92, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares were traded at their previous close of $15.00. In the retail sector, RYMCO shares lost 2.35% to $3.32.
