The BSI lost 0.55% on Wednesday October 8, 2014

 Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) occurred at a volume of 515,595 shares worth $3.44M. Audi GDRs were the most traded stocks, with a volume of 463,200 shares. The Beirut Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.55% to 1,172.96 points. The banking sector took a share of 84.43% of total traded volume with Audi GDR shares and BEMO listed shares decreasing by 2.44% and 1.14% to $6.00 and $1.73, respectively. In contrast, Byblos preferred 2008 shares and Bank of Beirut (BoB) preferred shares class “H” gained 0.30% and 0.39% to close at $101.00 and $25.85, respectively. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares lost 2.21% and 1.40% to end today’s session at $11.93 and $11.98, respectively.
