Despite the protests that are taking place today, the Lebanese Bourse showed resilient performance on Wednesday, ending up the session in the green. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.07% to settle at 1,140.66 in which 36,688 shares were traded worth $643,739. However, the Lebanese gauge registered a 2.53% year-to-date (y-t-d) downtick, and a 2.63% decline (y-o-y). In the real estate sector, Solidere classes “A” and “B” shares increased by 0.40% and 0.39% to $10.14 and $10.20, respectively. In the banking sector, Bank Audi preferred shares class “H” augmented 0.20% to close the session at $100.80.
