Lebanese Bourse Ended Monday’s Session in the Red on Real Estate Correction

The positive sentiment that reined the Lebanese Bourse last week following the breakthrough on the political scene seemed to be fading during the first session of this week. In fact,  the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) declined by 1.63% on Monday to 1,125.13 points mainly due to the corrections within the real estate sector. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares class “A” and “B” dropped by 8.98% and 9.10% to end the session,  below the $10-mark, at respective levels of $9.22 and $9.09, respectively. In the banking sector, Audi listed shares fell by 0.84% to close the session at $5.90 while the listed shares of BLOM and Byblos traded with no change in price.  In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares gained 3.45% to settle at $15.00.
