The Lebanese Bourse Showed Negative Performance on Tuesday

The Beirut Stock Exchange had a poor showing today mainly due to the real estate sector ending in the red. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.31% to reach 1,153.86 points following the trade of 37,467 shares worth $410,032. In the real estate sector, Solidere shares classes “A” and “B” declined by 0.10% and 3.36% to end the trading day at $10.29 and $9.77, respectively. In the banking sector, Audi listed shares traded at $6.07, 0.49% lower than Monday’s quote. In contrast, Bank of Beirut common shares gained 0.54% to close the session at $18.50, while Byblos listed shares and BLOM GDR shares traded with no change in price.
