Thank You: Our 2018 in a Nutshell

To our Dearest Readers and Friends of BLOMInvest Bank:

With our 2018 coming to an end, we at the Economic Research Dept. would love to Thank You for being loyal readers, active contributors, and friends of BLOMInvest Bank.

From signing up to our economic newsletter(s), to your loyalty, feedback, queries, and involvement, this year has been amazing!

You allowed us to grow, expand, and tailor our capacity and skill to topics that can support your research, policy making, business, and knowledge.

This week, we are releasing our “BEST Of” edition of our newsletter: The Lebanon Brief as of Dec. 28, 2018.

Our 2018 in a nutshell:

With every new year, we aim to tailor our research to the interests and benefits of our readers such that our reports add value to your businesses, investments, and studies.

Some of you have also shared their topics of interest with us on [email protected]. We promise to do our best and cover themes and subjects that clarify the national and regional economic developments.

Main achievements:

Your support and our dedication have allowed our corporate blog to flourish, especially in terms of increasing numbers of subscribers and a larger geographic expansion of our published works.

Our open access economic database grabbed the spotlight this year, post- launching in November 2017. It offered added value to economists, journalists, students, investors, policy makers and others around the world.

The BLOMInvest-IHS Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) is in its 5th year, and it continues to be an essential, awaited indicator knowing that a BLOMInvest study this year linked the PMI to forecasts of economic growth.

New economic indices are also currently in the making, promising tighter analyses and more insights on the national economy.

Our “BLOM Breakfast Series” launched also in 2018 were incredibly beneficial to stakeholders of the Lebanese society. Attendees of these periodic events (series) were able to network and remain updated on the major economic developments in the country.

Lastly, we sincerely Thank You for attending our corporate events, breakfast series, presentations, and interviews and for following up on our news, research, indicators, and reports throughout this year.
