BSI lost 0.12% on October 1, 2014

Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) declined today, after the draft law for the salary scale was returned for further study. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.12% to stand at 1,172.67 points. The real estate sector grasped a share of 88.19% of total traded value; where Solidere “A” shares added 0.17% to $12.01, while the “B” shares dropped by 0.08% to $11.99. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares inched up by 0.07% to $15.01. In the banking sector, BLOM listed shares and Audi GDR shares fell by 0.68% and 0.81% to close at $8.75 and $6.15, respectively. Meanwhile Audi listed and preferred class “F” shares were traded with no change in price.
