BSI Kept its Upward Trend for the Third Day, on September 26, 2014

 Activity on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) kept its upward trend for the third day, today, where the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.11% to close the week at 1,173.54 points. Trade occurred at a volume of 514,428 shares worth $3.43M. The banking sector grasped a share of 90.83% of total traded value; with Audi’s preferred shares class “E” gaining 1.00% to close at $101.50 and Byblos’ listed shares rising by 0.61% to reach $1.64. In contrast, Audi’s GDR shares slid by 2.97% to settle at $6.20. Meanwhile, BLOM’s listed shares and Audi’s listed and preferred class “F” shares exchanged hands without any change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” and “B” shares edged up by 1.36% and 0.93%, to close at $11.96 and $11.97, respectively.
