Trade on the BSE Occurred at a Frail Volume on October 9

Trade on the Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) happened at a frail volume of 15,392 shares worth $612,318. The Beirut Stock Index (BSI) gained 0.20% to 1,175.33 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 84.68% of total traded value; with Bank Byblos preferred shares 2009 and Bank of Beirut preferred shares “I” edging up by 0.10% and 0.19% to close at $100.60 and $25.75, respectively. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares added 1.68% to $12.13, while Solidere “B” lost 0.08% to end today’s session at $11.97. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares dropped 0.07% to $15.00.
