BSI lost 0.93% on September 9th

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) activity occurred at a high volume of 17,055,725 shares worth $102.54M, where 17,005,448 of the traded shares were Audi listed shares. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.93% to reach 1,174.57 points. The banking sector grasped a share of 99.69% of total traded value, where Audi listed shares dropped by 2.91% to $6.00. On the other hand, BLOM GDRs and Audi GDRs added 0.21% and 1.43% to $9.37 and $6.39, respectively. Meanwhile, BLOM listed shares and Byblos preferred 2009 shares exchanged hands without a change in price. In the real estate sector Solidere “A” and “B” shares lost 2.58% and 2.73%, to $12.08 and $12.10, respectively. In the industrial sector, HOLCIM shares and Ciments Blancs bearer shares were traded at their previous closing prices.
