BSE Saw an Improved Activity

 The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) improved today, where the BLOM Stock Index (BSI) added 0.16% to reach 1,171.38 points. The real estate sector grasped a share of 65.61% of total traded value, with Solidere “A” shares increasing by 0.86% to $11.76, while Solidere “B” shares lost 0.52% to $11.58. In the banking sector, Byblos listed shares and Bank of Beirut (BoB) preferred shares class “H” added 1.23% and 0.19% to close at $1.65 and $25.75, respectively. In contrast, Audi listed shares dropped by 0.16% to $6.09. Meanwhile, Byblos preferred 2008 shares exchanged hands with no change in price.
