The BSI lost 0.05% on Monday

The Beirut Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week on a thin volume of 21,935 shares worth $263,451. The BLOM Stock Index (BSI) lost 0.05% to 1,174.61 points. The banking sector took a share of 50.45% of total traded value, where BLOM GDR shares and Byblos preferred 2008 and 2009 shares added 0.52%, 0.10% and 0.20% to close today’s session at $9.60, $101.10, and $101.30, respectively. In contrast, BLOM listed shares dropped 0.57% to $8.75, while Audi listed shares and BLOM preferred 2011 shares were traded with no change in price. In the real estate sector, Solidere “A” shares lost 0.35% to $11.31, whereas the “B” class gained 0.26% to $11.36.
